Is AI Using YOU??!!
There is now a tool to find out -
Apparently, the artist known as SZA had a very public outburst after discovering 238 of her songs — some possibly unreleased —
appeared in AI training datasets!!
The bigger story: The Atlantic has built a searchable database (AI Watchdog) which covers some 21 million tracks across four
major AI training datasets - and it’s now available to any artist to check for themselves!
If you are creating original art through your music, you have every right to know if it’s been “stolen” for use in training AI engines…
A previously abstract legal argument has now turned into something any working musician can act on directly - and it's worth a look,
regardless of where you land on the whole AI argument.
